British Horseracing Industry - Overview Seminar

A one-day course, offering a friendly introduction to the world of racing. Ideal for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of racing or develop their career in the industry.

The packed agenda features talks from key figures in racing, covering many aspects of this complex and historical sport. Subjects covered include the roles of the British Horseracing Authority and Weatherbys, racing in the media, the racecourse perspective, the breeding and stud industry, the betting industry and the rules of racing.

Delegates will learn how the various parties involved in racing work together to deliver a compelling and popular sport. You will have the opportunity to meet some of racing's most experienced peoople as well as other delegates from around the industry.

The course takes place at Sandown Park on 30th July and again at the British Racing School in Newmarket on November 12th.
