Lucy Barry wins 'Hands and Heels' Apprentice Training Series

Lucy Barry Lucy Barry, already a previous winner of 2010/2011 'Hands and Heels' All Weather Series has regained a Racing Excellence title by winning the 'Hands and Heels' Apprentice Training Series 2011 title. Barry was streaks ahead of everybody else on the leader board prior to the final race on 22nd October at Doncaster and managed to secure the title without having a ride in the final.

Barry who is an apprentice for Clive Cox started the series as she intended perform throughout, winning the first 'Hands and Heels' race on Collect Art for trainer Andrew Haynes. Subsequently, Barry added three more wins to her name throughout the series, making her the only one of her piers to accumulate multiple victories during the competition. Despite being unable to collect her prize at Doncaster due to engagements at Newbury, Barry will undoubtedly be adding to her trophy collection very soon.
