Irridescence, just touched off in the Beverly D Stakes at Arlington Park under Johnny Murtagh at the weekend, will finish her racing career in America.
The six-year-old had been trained by Mike De Kock in South Africa and was owned in partnership by Green Lantern Stable and Team Valor. However, following her run on Saturday, she has been purchased outright by the former and will now join Rusty Arnold.
Green Lantern's Richard Masson told www.mikedekockracing.com: "We hope to run her a couple of times before she joins our broodmare band. She is the best horse we've ever had anything to do with and we look forward to having her at our farm."
Irridescence has accrued nearly £890,000 in winning eight races and being placed a further five times in just 19 starts to date.
