Aintree is home to one of the most talked about, most celebrated and most magical races in the world – the John Smith's Grand National. First run in 1839, the National was won impressively by Tony McCoy on Don't Push It, trained by Jonjo O'Neill, in 2010. It is strongly advised to book well in advance for this 3-day meeting as many enclosures sell out well in advance.
