Ed Whitaker wins Sports Photographer of the Year award
Racing photographer Ed Whitaker has won the Sports Photographer of the Year Specialist Portfolio award at the Sports Journalism Awards 2009.
At the prestigious awards, held on 9th March in London, Ed's marvellous collections was rewarded with the top prize. He beat some tough competition in the form of:
- Stu Forster – Getty Images
- Eddie Keogh – Freelance
- Laurence Lustig - Freelance
- Mark Robinson – The Sun
- Mark Thompson – Getty Images
