- Southwell, 11 March 2010
The Stewards held an enquiry into possible interference in the final two furlongs. They found that the winner, ESEEJ (USA), ridden by William Carson, had interfered with WHOOSHKA (USA), ridden by Chris Catlin, placed second. They considered that the interference was accidental under Rule (B)55 and took no further action.
The Stewards noted that Luke Morris, the rider of DANE COTTAGE, placed third, had struck the winner, JUICY PEAR (IRE), with his whip inside the final furlong, but after viewing a video recording of the incident they were satisfied that it was accidental. They therefore took no further action.
The Stewards called before them Daniel Tudhope, the rider of ANGLE OF ATTACK (IRE), placed second, and enquired into his use of the whip inside the final furlong. Having heard his evidence and viewed the video recording of the race, the Stewards found the rider in breach of Schedule (B)6 Part 2 in that he had used his whip down the shoulder in the forehand position. They cautioned him as to the future use of his whip.
The Stewards noted that SHANNON GOLDEN, placed fourth, had interfered with RED CELL (IRE), who in turn had interfered with RETALIATE, who in turn had interfered with HART OF GOLD, all unplaced, at the start, but after viewing a video recording of the incident, they were satisfied that it neither involved a riding offence nor improved SHANNON GOLDEN’s placing. They therefore took no further action.

- Wincanton, 11 March 2010
The Stewards held an enquiry under Rule (B)11.6 into possible interference on the run to the line. They found that the winner, Superius (IRE), ridden by Jack Doyle, had interfered with Tiger Dream, ridden by Chris Honour, placed second. They considered that the interference was caused by careless riding in that Doyle allowed his horse to drift left handed and as the interference had not improved Superius (IRE)’s placing the Stewards ordered the placings to remain unaltered. They suspended Doyle for 3 days as follows:- Thursday 25TH, Friday 26th and Saturday 27th March.
