The Stewards considered the running of ALWAYS BOLD (IRE), ridden by Alain Cawley and trained by Martin Keighley, which finished fifth. They noted the trainer could offer no explanation for gelding’s performance, other than that the gelding ran flat.
Jason Maguire, the rider of JUST BENNY (IRE), unplaced, reported that the gelding hung left throughout.
