    Alan McCabe, the trainer of EASTERN HILLS, which pulled up, reported that the gelding finished distressed.

    The Veterinary Officer reported that GREYFRIARSCHORISTA, unplaced, trained by Brian Ellison bled from the nose.

    Wayne Kavanagh, the rider of THERE AND THEN, unplaced, reported that the gelding lost a near fore shoe.

    Peter Carberry, the rider of ALL THE WINDS (GER), unplaced, reported that the gelding was unsuited by the heavy (soft in places) ground.

    The Stewards considered the running of ROYAL CHARM, ridden by Daryl Jacob, and trained by P.F. Nicholls, which finished fourth of the four runners. They noted the trainer could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance. They ordered ROYAL CHARM to be routine tested.
