The British Bloodstock Marketing Team
British Bloodstock Marketing (BBM) has evolved from the British Bloodstock Marketing Group (BBMG) which was orignially created by the British Horseracing Board (now Authority) in 1994. Today, the BBM Committee consists of representatives from the British Horseracing Authority, Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association, Tattersalls, Doncaster Bloodstock Sales, the Federation of Bloodstock Agents, and Weatherbys.
In August 2007, the BBM Committee recruited Anna Pinnington as a full time employee dedicated to the promotion of the British Racing and Breeding Industry. In July 2008, Gavin Pritichard-Gordon and Desna Tatler joined Anna from the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association to form a team of three solely focused on this objective.

Gavin Pritchard Gordon - Executive Chairman
Gavin brings a lifetime of experience in the Racing industry to BBM. Previously a Newmarket trainer for 24 years, Gavin spent a year with the BHB before becoming Executive Director of the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association in 1995. He helped set up the original BBMG Committeee, has always been very passionate about the promotion of the British Racing and Breeding, and values deeply its importance, in an increasingly international and competitve market.

Anna Powell - Marketing Manager
Anna worked in the racing and breeding industry in France for four years, as FRBC’s Media Relations Manager, after graduating from Edinburgh University. She then returned home to Britain in August 2007 to take on the role as BBM’s International Development Manager.

Desna Tatler - Marketing Executive
Supporting Gavin and Anna, is Desna, who possesses wide ranging marketing knowledge, and valuable industry experience gained from three years working as racing secretary to one of Britain’s top trainers.
