If you require financial assistance with travel expenses in order to attend Doncaster Bloodstock Sales (DBS) or Tattersalls Sales you should apply for the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) and Thoroughbred Breeders' Association (TBA) Inward Buyers Initiative.
This Initiative offers to subsidise travel expenses for purchasers travelling from outside the British Isles to sales held by these Sales Houses, based on the cost of an Apex airfare from your overseas location. The purchaser will need to produce both proof of purchase at the relevant sale and valid documents.
DBS and Tattersalls require a minimum purchase price of £5,250
(5,000guineas) at all of their sales in order to qualify for
the Inward Buyers Scheme.
If you are interested in taking advantage of the Initiative you should complete and send the relevant application form as soon as possible prior to the sale you wish to attend.
