Under the orders & rules of racing every owner must have a training agreement in place. This training agreement must have standard provisions which are laid down in the rules.
This has been included under the Orders and Rules of Racing to safeguard both trainer and owner throughout the ‘ownership experience’. It also helps secure both parties in terms of liability.
Training agreements will vary between trainers so it is best to check all your training and associated racing costs are covered and that you are sure exactly what all your training costs will be.
