If you want to work in marketing, you’ll need to be quite creative – you will need to be good at coming up with ideas to promote the business. You also have to keep an eye on budgets, to make sure that your ideas are affordable and will be worth it (in terms of profit, promotion or raising awareness).

Hospitality:

The world of hospitality is about making sure people have a good time; people who work in this area must enjoy looking after people and giving them fantastic customer service.

Marketing and hospitality are often combined into a single job role and are very often the responsibility of the racecourse manager.
