Note: Prior to 3rd April 2006, the Jockey Club was the regulator of racing, and prior to July 2007 the Horseracing Regulatory Authority performed the same function.

Barry Geraghty, the rider of RIVERSIDE THEATRE, which was pulled up, reported that the gelding was never travelling. The Stewards ordered RIVERSIDE THEATRE to be routine tested.
Barry Geraghty, the rider of TANKS FOR THAT (IRE), which was pulled up, reported that the gelding ran flat. The Stewards ordered TANKS FOR THAT (IRE) to be routine tested.
Dr Richard Newland, the trainer of SILVER ADONIS (IRE), unplaced, reported that the gelding finished distressed.

Tommy Phelan, the rider of SIR ROGER (IRE), unplaced, reported that the gelding hung badly right.
Colin Bolger, the rider of TUSCANY STAR (IRE), which was pulled up, reported that the gelding was lame. The Veterinary Officer subsequently reported that TUSCANY STAR (IRE), trained by Jim Best, had returned sound.
Alan Jones, the trainer of TEMPLE PLACE (IRE), which was pulled up, reported that the gelding had a breathing problem.

Tom Eaves, the rider of WAR OF THE ROSES (IRE), which was pulled up, reported that the gelding was lame.
Shane Kelly, the rider of WHITBY JET (IRE), placed fourth, reported that the gelding suffered interference at the start.
