    Tim McCarthy, the trainer of CAVALRY GUARD (USA), unplaced, reported that the gelding finished distressed.

    Robbie Fitzpatrick, the rider of VHUJON (IRE), unplaced, reported that the gelding was denied a clear run.

    Harry Challoner, the rider of BALLINTUBBER CROSS (IRE), unplaced,
    reported that the gelding was never travelling.

    The representative of Keith Reveley, the trainer of ALORA MONEY, which was pulled up, reported that the mare finished distressed. The Stewards ordered ALORA MONEY to be routine tested.

    Mr B.J. Poste, the rider of ADIOS ALONSO (IRE) who was pulled up, reported that the gelding hung left.

    The Stewards considered the running of CHARTREUX (FR), the odds on favourite, ridden by Tom Scudamore, and trained by David Pipe, which finished last of four. They noted the trainer could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance. They ordered CHARTREUX (FR) to be routine tested.
