British racing’s anonymous reporting service
RaceWISE is a secure way for anyone with concerns about potential wrongdoing in the sport to report these to the BHA, without having to reveal their identity.
This may include possible integrity threats, both on and off the racecourse, the treatment and welfare of horses and humans, safeguarding and equality concerns, or anything else related to British racing that may not feel or look quite right and could damage the reputation of the sport.
How to get in touch
We have recently added a new WhatsApp and text message service to RaceWISE to make it easier for people to speak up for the sport they love. You now can get in touch with us anonymously via the following means:
How RaceWISE works
Delivered in partnership with Real Response, the real-time messaging service is managed through a fully encrypted system, giving the person reporting the concerns added confidence that they are doing so safely and with anonymity, irrespective of the method used to contact RaceWISE.
The messaging, phoneline and email inbox will be actively monitored by the BHA’s integrity team, who will review and evaluate the information provided. Where appropriate the reports will be subject to further investigation or linked to other intelligence to build a bigger picture of a potential issue.
What you should report
RaceWISE is there to assist with your concerns around four important areas:
– the Welfare of racehorses
– protecting the Integrity of the sport
– addressing Safeguarding and welfare concerns
– maintaining Equality for everyone
We would encourage you to report concerns relating to these areas, as well as anything else that could be damaging to our sport, our people or our horses.
