Following recent abandonments and with the current wet weather threatening further fixtures, the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has programmed a card of Jumpers’ Bumpers to take place on the All-Weather Track at Lingfield Park on Thursday, January 17th.

The seven race card will be made up of five events primarily aimed at Steeple Chasers and Hurdlers, plus two Open National Hunt Flat races.

Ordinarily, under the Rules of Racing, horses which have run in Steeple Chases or Hurdle Races are not eligible to run in National Hunt Flat races but, given the nature of the card, the BHA has modified the Rules with regard to this fixture.

The races close at noon on Tuesday, January 15th, with declarations to run to be made by 10.00am on Wednesday, January 16th.
