The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) can confirm that an additional Jump fixture will take place at Fontwell Park on Sunday 26 October.

Two of the races from Fontwell are intended to be shown live on ITV1 to replace the two contests that were lost from ITV Racing’s broadcast following the abandonment of Wincanton’s fixture on Sunday.

Entries for this seven-race card will close at 12 noon tomorrow, Friday 24 October, with declarations to be made by 10am on Saturday 25 October.

The BHA is grateful to the Horserace Betting Levy Board for its contribution to the funding of prize money for this additional meeting, and to the participants, stable employees, raceday officials and others who will be servicing this fixture at short notice.

Following the addition of this fixture, the jockey booking deadline for Sunday’s meeting at Aintree will be extended 24 hours to 1pm on Saturday.
