The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) can confirm that following discussions with Pontefract and Uttoxeter, the start time for both fixtures on Sunday 27 July will be brought forward to account for England’s progression to the Women’s Euro 2025 football final, which kicks off at 17:00 on Sunday.

Pontefract’s first race will now start at 13:55 (from 14:30) and Uttoxeter at 13:37 (from 14:12). If there are divisions on either card, these will be scheduled earlier.

We are pleased to make this change to enable customers to fully enjoy both the racing and the Lionesses’ historic attempt to retain their Euro title.
