The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) can confirm it has approved a request from Arena Racing Company (ARC) to transfer Southwell’s fixture on Saturday 21 February to Lingfield Park.

The fixture, which previously took place at Lingfield before being moved to Southwell in 2024 and 2025, contains the Group 3 Winter Derby and Listed Hever Stakes.

Ben Cook, ARC’s Head of Group Racing – Fixtures and Funding, said:

“The Winter Derby and Hever Stakes will return to Lingfield Park in 2026, following the end of the two-year trial of fixture moves throughout the winter season.

“These races have long been a highlight of the All-Weather Championships season at Lingfield Park, and we look forward to their return on 21 February, a fixture which is scheduled to feature on the ITV Racing broadcast.”
