Grant Harris, currently the Chief Executive of the NTF has been appointed Assistant Racing Director and will join the team in Portman Square in the middle of August.

This is a new senior post which will boost the resources of the Racing Division which, directed by Paul Greeves, includes within its responsibilities compilation of the Fixture List, race planning, handicapping, and supervision of functions carried out by Weatherbys for BHB under the Racing Administration Contract. Grant, who will act in the absence of the Racing Director, will be given special responsibility for all computer systems and development including further development of the important new BHB/Weatherbys Internet Racing Administration site, of statistics, research and project work and handicapping services.
