PHILIP FREEDMAN APPOINTED TO BHB BOARD

Philip Freedman will succeed Nigel Elwes as the nominee of the Thoroughbred Breeder?_x0019_ Association (TBA) on the BHB Board on 1st January 2003.

He succeeds Mr Elwes as Chairman of the TBA in January 2003, initially for a three-year period. His appointment to BHB, approved by the Board at its meeting on 11th December, runs initially until 31st December 2005.

Philip Freedman, 41, is Chairman of the BHB Flat Pattern Panel, a member of BHB’s Taxation Committee, a member of the Jockey Club, a Director of Jockey Club Estates and a local steward at Kempton and Sandown. He also owns Cliveden Stud.
