CINEMA PARADISO
HBLB HANDICAP HURDLE – HAYDOCK, 4TH NOVEMBER 1999

The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from CINEMA PARADISO, trained by Nicky Richards, at Haydock on 4th November 1999, has confirmed the presence of tetramisole, which is a prohibited substance. This finding has been confirmed by the Australian Racing Laboratory in Flemington, who performed the counter analysis.

An enquiry will be held by the Jockey Club`s Disciplinary Committee in due course.

NUVELLINO
UNITED HOUSE DEVELOPMENT NOVICES’ HURDLE
ASCOT, 30TH OCTOBER 1999

The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from NUVELLINO, trained by Philip Hobbs, at Ascot on 30th October 1999, has confirmed the presence of phenylbutazone and oxyphenbutazone, which are prohibited substances. This finding has been confirmed by the German Racing Laboratory in Köln, who performed the counter analysis.

An enquiry will be held by the Jockey Club`s Disciplinary Committee in due course.

THELONIUS(IRE)
NORTH STAFFORDSHIRE ADVERTISER NOVICES’ HURDLE
UTTOXETER – 2ND OCTOBER, 1999

The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from THEOLONIUS (IRE), trained by Philip Hobbs, at Uttoxeter on 2nd October 1999, has confirmed the presence of phenylbutazone and oxyphenbutazone, which are prohibited substances. This finding has been confirmed by the Jockey Club of Southern Africa, who performed the counter analysis.

An enquiry will be held by the Jockey Club’s Disciplinary Committee in due course.
