• Turf Inspection planned for 9.00am Saturday 20 February

With the current wet weather threatening the prospects of Turf racing on Monday, 22 February, the British Horseracing Authority has programmed a provisional AWT Flat fixture at Lingfield Park Racecourse, which will only be activated if Lingfield’s Jump Fixture on the same day is abandoned.

All additional races will be free to enter and a final decision on whether the existing Jump races will be abandoned, and the provisional AWT card activated, will be made by 9.00am on Saturday, 20 February.

The provisional additional AWT Flat races will close at noon on Saturday, 20 February.

Should these races subsequently be activated, they will close for declarations at 10am on Sunday, 21 February.

In light of the addition of this fixture, the British Horseracing Authority will delay the Declaration of Riders Deadline under Rule F(92) for races at Wolverhampton on Monday 22 February until 1.00pm on Sunday 21 February.

The provisional races will run in Lingfield’s current race slots of 2.20pm to 5.05pm.
