RACING INDUSTRY OBSERVES MINUTE’S SILENCE

Racing took the opportunity to pay its further respects to those killed or bereaved in Tuesda?_x0019_s atrocities in the United States when a minut?_x0019_s silence was held today (Friday) at 1.55pm at the three racecourses staging fixtures (Doncaster, Epsom and Worcester).

Industry associations were advised of the minute’s silence and many individuals throughout Racing also paid their respects.

The minute’s silence was observed by Channel 4 Racing and SIS.

The first race at Worcester, due off at 1.55pm, was held back accordingly.

These arrangements were in addition to the three-minute Europe-wide period of silence at 11am.
