The established international bulletin “”The British Thoroughbred”” is now on the Internet, www.thebritishthoroughbred.co.uk.
The site provides a colourful guide to the major racing festivals and bloodstock sales coming up in Britain, and highlights selected world-wide achievements of British bloodstock.

In addition, there are: hot links to the sponsors sites – namely the British Horseracing Board (BHB), Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (TBA), Federation of Bloodstock Agents (GB) Ltd, Tattersalls and Doncaster Bloodstock Sales; application forms for the BHB/TBA Inward Buyers Initiative; and a request form for the free booklet “”British Racing and Breeding – A World Class Industry””.
The site aims to compliment the BHB internet site, www.bhb.co.uk, an advanced and comprehensive site devoted to British racing. Fixtures lists and the BHB Trainers’ Directory can be fully searched against a number of criteria. Other areas include “”About Us””, a reference section on BHB, and “”News”” which includes an archive of BHB press releases and major speeches.
“”The British Thoroughbred”” site, developed by NewMedia Workshop, responsible for the highly-praised Racing Post Internet site, will be updated in February, May, August and November each year.
