An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (100 days) Clerk of Scales to be based within the West Midlands region. The core function of this essential role is to run and manage the weighing room with responsibility for the weighing out and back in of riders, guaranteeing the integrity of racing by understanding in detail race conditions, overseeing the Drug Control processes for jockeys as well as having a knowledge of the rules of racing and instructions concerning all weighing room procedures.
