The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is the governing and regulatory body for horseracing in Great Britain.

Under the chairmanship of Lord Charles Allen, the BHA has set a renewed and ambitious goal to lead its stakeholders and transform British racing into a “modern commercial and cultural powerhouse”.

To this end, the BHA is transforming its governance arrangements, including building a fully independent board, to support the BHA’s new role in co-ordinating a commercial industry growth strategy, and utilising world-class business and digital skills to actively grow racing as a sport and as an industry.

In this process, the BHA will appoint multiple Independent Non-Executive Directors. They will oversee the organisation, supporting its growth and transformation.
