Result of enquiries (A Carson, P Phelan) heard by the Disciplinary Panel on Friday 3 June

In absence – Anthony Carson

 

The Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority held an enquiry on 3 June 2016 to consider whether or not Anthony Carson, a licensed trainer, had committed a breach of Rule (C)17 of the Rules of Racing, in respect of his failure to notify the Racing Calendar Office, by noon 5 days before the horse’s next run, that PLACEDELA CONCORDE had been gelded.

Having considered the evidence, the Panel found Mr Carson in breach of Rule (C)17 and fined him £200.

 

In absence – Pat Phelan

 

The Disciplinary Panel of the British Horseracing Authority held an enquiry on 3 June 2016 to consider whether or not Pat Phelan, a licensed trainer, had committed a breach of Rule (C)17 of the Rules of Racing, in respect of his failure to notify the Racing Calendar Office, by noon 5 days before the horse’s next run, that YENSIR had been gelded. However, the Panel noted that he had informed the Racing Calendar Office the day after declarations.

Having considered the evidence, the Panel found Mr Phelan in breach of Rule (C)17 and fined him £100.
