The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) can confirm that the two Steeple Chases scheduled to take place at Uttoxeter’s fixture on Sunday 31 December have been abandoned due to a waterlogged chase course and will be replaced with one additional Hurdle race to create a six-race card, permitted to divide to seven.

In addition, the three Steeple Chases scheduled to take place at Warwick’s fixture on Sunday 31 December have also been abandoned due to a waterlogged chase course and will be replaced with two additional Hurdle races to create a six-race card, permitted to divide to seven.

The additional races will close for entries at 12pm tomorrow (Thursday 28 December), with declarations taking place along with the rest of the card by 10am Friday 29 December.

The race conditions for the additional races will be available on Racing Admin shortly.
