The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) can confirm an additional All-Weather fixture will take place at Chelmsford City on Thursday 22 February.

With inclement weather forecast for the coming days that could impact Thursday afternoon’s Jump fixtures, the decision was taken to add a further All-Weather fixture which will comprise of six races, with the possibility to divide to eight.

Entries for this fixture will close at 12 noon on Tuesday, ahead of declarations being made at the 24-hour stage on Wednesday. Jockey declarations for Newcastle’s All-Weather meeting on Thursday evening will be delayed 24 hours as a result of this additional fixture.

The BHA is grateful to the Horserace Betting Levy Board for their contribution to the funding of prize money for this additional meeting.
