The BHA has today confirmed the addition of an All-Weather fixture at Southwell on Thursday 15 February.

With forecasts for inclement weather that could impact the three Jump fixtures scheduled for the same afternoon, a decision was taken to add a further All-Weather fixture, that will take place in the afternoon and comprise six races, with the possibility to divide to eight.

Entries for the new Southwell fixture will close on Tuesday 13 February before declarations are taken at the 24 hour and the BHA is grateful to the Horserace Betting Levy Board for their contribution to the funding of prize money for this additional meeting.

As a result of the addition of this fixture, jockey declarations for the same day’s Chelmsford City meeting will be delayed by 24 hours.
