The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) can confirm that the two Steeple Chases scheduled to take place at Uttoxeter’s fixture on Saturday 18 November have been abandoned and will be replaced with an additional Hurdle race to create a six-race card, permitted to divide to seven.

The additional race, which will close for entries at 12 noon on Tuesday 14 November, is a 0-120 Handicap Hurdle over 2m (1m 7f 168y).

Of the existing four Hurdle races and one National Hunt Flat race on Saturday’s card, the race with the most entries will be permitted to divide.
