The BHA has today confirmed that the two Chases scheduled to take place at Leicester’s fixture on Monday 15 November 2021 have been abandoned.

While the Hurdle course was on Monday described as Good to Soft, Soft in Places, the Chase course was Firm and with little appreciable rain in the track’s forecast, a decision has been taken to ensure the safest possible meeting for all participants.

The two abandoned chases will be replaced by a Mares’ Maiden Hurdle, forming a six-race card, for which entries will close at noon tomorrow, Tuesday 9 November.
