Following the abandonment of racing at Sandown Park on Saturday, January 2nd, the British Horseracing Authority is pleased to announce that the Blue Square Tolworth Hurdle Race (Grade 1) has been transferred to Ffos Las on Saturday, January 9th, 2010.
With severe weather forecast for the remainder of the week, the outlook does not look good for most racecourses, but Ffos Las remain hopeful and believe they have a reasonable chance of racing. Temperatures have risen today and frost covers are due to be deployed over the next few days.
The original entries for the Grade 1 event will be carried over and connections wishing to run should declare by 10am on Friday, January 8th, 2010. The race will be broadcast live on Channel 4 and will form part of an 8 race card.
Revised times and running order are set out below, with full race conditions attached.
