BRITISH HORSERACING AUTHORITY STATEMENT FOLLOWING DISCIPLINARY PANEL DECISION

11 Jun 2010 Pre-2014 Releases

The British Horseracing Authority statement on the Disciplinary Panel decision to disqualify Harry Findlay for six months:

“The Disciplinary Panel that Harry Findlay stood before is independent and its decision objective and impartial.

“As with all Disciplinary Enquiries, Mr Findlay has seven days from the receipt of the Panel’s reasons to appeal the decision, when he can also request a stay of penalty. Should he choose to appeal, we hope that the Appeal Board would be in a position to consider such an application on an expedited basis.

“Consequently, it would be inappropriate to comment further on the Panel’s decision.”
