CHARITY RACE EVENING AT ROYAL WINDSOR – MONDAY 24 MAY 2010

18 May 2010 Pre-2014 Releases

Next Monday, the Tristram Ricketts Appeal, in aid of the Spinal Injuries Association, is staging a charity race evening at Royal Windsor Racecourse.  This is the first of a number of events scheduled for 2010.

Generously sponsored by Cenkos Securities, Coolmore and the Sunley Foundation, the evening will be attended by over 200 invited guests, including some from the Anglo-Irish Jump Awards lunch held earlier the same day.

Amongst the list of exciting auction lots are two items for which outside bids can be accepted in advance of the event up to 5pm on Monday 24 May.  These are:

Nomination to Dutch Art

Champion two year old of 2006, winning the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot, the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville and the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket, Dutch Art was blessed with blistering speed. He has covered a full book of 120 mares in his two seasons at stud to date, standing at Cheveley Park Stud alongside his own sire Medicean and other iconic stallions including Pivotal. The prize is one nomination to Dutch Art, to be taken within the next two years.

This item has been generously donated by Cheveley Park Stud.

A set of cherished colours

With thanks to BHA and Weatherbys, a particularly distinctive set of colours – pink with grey epaulettes – has been made available for the auction.  The winner will have the right to register the colours for five years at no charge.

Reserves apply to both items and bids should be made to:
