CLASS 2 NOVICES’ HURDLE RACE ADDED TO HUNTINGDON, FRIDAY, JANUARY 25TH, 2013

Following the abandonment of the Grade 2, Rossington Main Novices’ Hurdle Race at Haydock Park on Saturday, January 19th, the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has added a compensatory race to Huntingdon’s fixture on Friday, January 25th. The William Hill – Download the App Novices’ Hurdle Race (Class 2) will be run with a total prize fund of £15,000 and will replace the existing Class 4, 2 mile novices’ hurdle opportunity on the card.

All races at Huntingdon will close at noon on Saturday, January 19th, while declarations to run must be made as usual by 10.00 a.m. on Thursday, January 24th. The race will take place at 1.20 and the running order will remain unchanged.
