ENQUIRIES AND APPEALS TO BE HEARD BY THE DISCIPLINARY PANEL ON THURSDAY 22ND APRIL 2010

KAYFTON PETE / Reg Hollinshead

The Disciplinary Panel will hold an enquiry to consider whether or not R Hollinshead, a licensed trainer, had committed a breach of Rule (C)17 of the Rules of Racing, in respect of his failure to  notify the Racing Calendar Office by noon five days before running, that KAYFTON PETE had been gelded.  The failure to comply with Rule (C)17 was noted when the Veterinary Officer examined the horse at Ludlow on 25 March 2010.

STARKSIE (IRE) / Evan Williams

The Disciplinary Panel will hold an enquiry to consider whether or not R E R Williams, a licensed trainer, had committed a breach of Rule (C)17 of the Rules of Racing, in respect of his failure to  notify the Racing Calendar Office by noon five days before running, that STARKSIE (IRE) had been gelded.  The failure to comply with Rule (C)17 was noted when the Veterinary Officer examined the horse at Ffos Las on 18 February 2010.

JOSIAH BARTLETT (IRE) / Ian Williams

The Disciplinary Panel will hold an enquiry to consider whether or not I Williams, a licensed trainer, had committed a breach of Rule (F)96.2 of the Rules of Racing in respect of declaring JOSIAH BARTLETT (IRE) to run in two races on the same day: namely the Sponsor A Race At Wolverhampton Amateur Riders’ Handicap Stakes and the Betdaq The Betting Exchange Handicap Stakes, both at Wolverhampton on Monday 22 February 2010.  The matter was referred by the Wolverhampton Stewards, this being his third offence within a twelve month period.

Robert Kirk

The Disciplinary Panel will consider an appeal lodged by Mr R J Kirk, an amateur jockey, against the decision of the Stewards at Huntingdon to find him in breach of Rule (D)41 of the Rules of Racing and to fine him £140 concerning his failure to fulfil his engagement to ride LILY KATE at Huntingdon on 7 March 2010.

Adam Wedge

The Disciplinary Panel will consider an appeal lodged by Mr A Wedge, an amateur jockey, against the decision of the Stewards at Huntingdon to find him in breach of Rule (D)41 of the Rules of Racing and to fine him £140 concerning his failure to fulfil his engagement to ride ROSIE RAYMOND at Huntingdon on 7 March 2010.
