The Disciplinary Panel held an enquiry in relation to the running and riding of VALMARI (IRE), ridden by licensed jockey Charlotte Kerton and trained by George Prodromou,a licensed trainer, in the betdaq.co.uk Handicap Stakes at Kempton on 16th April 2010, after the Stewards found the jockey in breach of Rule (B) 59.2 and deemed the trainer to be in breach of Rule (C)45.4 following an Enquiry.
The Disciplinary Panel found both Kerton and Prodromou in breach of the Rules of Racing and suspendedKerton for 42 days and fined Prodromou £7,500. VALMARI (IRE) has been suspended from running for 40 days from 5th May 2010.
