Following the recent abandonments of two Grade 2 Mares’ Hurdle races over two miles at Doncaster and three miles at Ascot, the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), has added a new Grade 2 Mares’ Hurdle race to Warwick’s fixture of Saturday, February 9th. It will be run over a distance of 2 miles about 3 furlongs.
The new race, for which full race conditions are attached, will close at noon on Tuesday, February 5th. The revised running order is detailed below.
The BHA is grateful to Warwick Racecourse for accommodating this race and also to sponsors OLBG and the Thoroughbred Breeders Association (TBA), as well as the Horserace Betting Levy Board for their help in staging this additional opportunity.
