The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has today announced that the Barton Storage Systems Fillies’ Handicap (Class 4) is to be run on the straight mile rather than the round mile for Doncaster’s fixture on Thursday 12 July 2018.

This is to ensure the course can water sufficiently ahead of next week’s fixture in light of the current spell of hot weather. Entries for the race will close along with the rest of the fixture tomorrow at 12 noon, with declarations as normal at the 48 hour stage on Tuesday 10 July.
