The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has today confirmed that following a planned inspection at Leicester Racecourse this morning, the three chases due to be run on Thursday 6 December have been abandoned.

Two additional hurdle races will take place, making an all-hurdle six-race card.

Entries for the two new contests will close tomorrow, Tuesday 4 December at 12 noon with declarations closing as normal on Wednesday 5 December.
