The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has today announced that The Barry Hills Further Flight Stakes (Listed), due to be run at Nottingham’s abandoned fixture on Wednesday 11 April, will now be run at the track on the evening of Saturday 21 April.

The fixture on 21 April will now be a seven race card, and the prize fund for the race remains unaltered at £40,000.

Original entries for The Barry Hills Further Flight Stakes will not stand and the race will be reopened for new entries.  It will close, along with the rest of the card, at noon on Monday 16 April, with declarations as normal at the 48 hour stage.

The full amended race programme, race times and further fixture information will be available via the racing admin site www2.racingadmin.co.uk in due course.

Richard Russell, Race Planning Executive at the BHA, said:

“Whilst it was a great shame to lose what looked a really competitive renewal of the Further Flight, we hope saving the race and running it on the 21st will produce an equally exciting final field.”
