Old Bailey Trial

As the governing body of racing, the British Horseracing Authority is following closely the criminal trial concerning an alleged fraud which commences at the Old Bailey on Monday, 9th October.

The Authority’s PR Manager, Paul Struthers, will be in attendance throughout the trial and can be contacted on 07966 590105.

However the Authority is constrained in what we are able to say and therefore will not be able to offer opinion or comment about the trial until after its conclusion.

The British Horseracing Authority is the governing and regulatory body of Racing. It was formed in July this year by merging the Horseracing Regulatory Authority (HRA), responsible for regulating the conduct of racing, with the British Horseracing Board (BHB), responsible for promoting the interests of racing.
