MIKASA (IRE)

The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from MIKASA (IRE), trained by Roger Fisher, placed first in the CFM Novice’s Handicap Chase at Carlisle on 15th April 2006 has confirmed the presence of hydrochlorothiazide, which is a prohibited substance. This finding has been confirmed by the German Laboratory, which performed the counter analysis. An enquiry will be held by the HRA’s Disciplinary Panel in due course.

COOLE VENTURE (IRE)

The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from COOLE VENTURE (IRE), owned by Mrs C Banks, at the Radnor & West Hereford Hunt Point to Point Steeplechase at Cold Harbour on 29th April 2006 has confirmed the presence of phenylbutzone, oxyphenbutazone, ibuprofen and clenbuterol, which are prohibited substances. This finding has been confirmed by the Racing Laboratory of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, which performed the counter analysis. An enquiry will be held by the HRA’s Disciplinary Panel in due course.

SENESCHAL

The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from SENESCHAL, trained by Andrew Haynes, placed first in the Subscribe to Racing UK Handicap at Kempton Park on 3rd May 2006 has confirmed the presence of phenylbutazone and oxyphenbutazone, which are prohibited substances. This finding has been confirmed by the Laboratory of the Jockey Club of South Africa, which performed the counter analysis. An enquiry will be held by the HRA’s Disciplinary Panel in due course.

JAKE THE SNAKE (IRE)

The Horseracing Forensic Laboratory has reported that the analysis of the urine taken from JAKE THE SNAKE (IRE), trained by Geoff Huffer, unplaced in the Colwick Park Handicap at Nottingham on 12th May 2006, has confirmed the presence of hydroxy triamcinolone acetonide, which is a prohibited substance. This finding has been confirmed by the French Laboratory, which performed the counter analysis. An enquiry will be held by the HRA’s Disciplinary Panel in due course.
