The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has today announced that two provisional hurdle races have been created for Leicester’s card on Sunday 2 December.
These are to take the place of the two chases currently scheduled if the chase course is abandoned following a planned inspection on Thursday.
The going at Leiciester is currently:
Chase – Hard,Firm in places
Hurdle – Home straight Good. Remainder Firm, Hard in places
Entries for the two provisional hurdle races will close at 12 noon tomorrow, Wednesday 28 November.
Should the hurdle course be raceable, they will declare with the four originally scheduled hurdle races as normal by 10am on Friday 30 December.
