The Brighton Executive, in conjunction with the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) Racecourse Inspectorate, has announced that Brighton Racecourse currently has waterlogged patches of ground. 8.75 inches of rain have fallen on the track in the last 21 days and a further inch of rain is forecast before Thursday afternoon.

As a result, the BHA, in conjunction with Arena Racing Company (ARC), has agreed to transfer the Flat meeting scheduled for Brighton on Thursday, 18th October, to the All-Weather track at Wolverhampton Racecourse. Minor alterations to race distances have been made where applicable.

Original entries made for the Brighton fixture will not stand. Entries will close at noon on Tuesday, 16th October. Declarations to run to be made by 10:00am on Wednesday, 17th October.

A revised running order and new race conditions and numbers are outlined below.
