The British Horseracing Authority has today confirmed that Taunton and Exeter will stage all-Hurdle cards on Wednesday 21 April and Thursday 22 April respectively.

Both fixtures had been due to stage Steeple chases as well as Hurdle races but in both cases, following a prolonged dry spell, it was deemed that it would not be possible to water the Steeple chase and Hurdle courses sufficiently to ensure ground that is safe for all participants.

The newly-configured fixtures will close for entries at noon tomorrow, Friday 16 April, before closing as normal at the 48-hour stage.
