Due to the current spell of weather continuing to threaten racing on turf and the improved weekend forecast, the British Horseracing Authority, in conjunction with the Horserace Betting Levy Board, has permitted the transfer of Huntingdon’s abandoned 9 December card, featuring the Grade 2 totesport.com Peterborough Steeple Chase to Sunday 12 December.
Huntingdon’s Clerk of the Course, Andrew Morris, reported today: “Huntingdon is currently Good, Good to Soft in Places (frozen in places) however with a far more positive forecast for the weekend we are grateful to the BHA, Levy Board and Tote for this opportunity.”
Original entries for the seven race card will stand, whilst declarations to run must be made by 10.00 a.m. on Friday 10 December.
The BHA is grateful to the HBLB and the Tote for its help in staging these extra races.
