Michael Chapman
Michael Chapman, a licensed Trainer, has been informed he will be required to attend a Disciplinary Panel hearing to consider possible breaches of the Rules of Racing in relation to the treatment, training and welfare of DARK OASIS in the period from 18th April to 21st September 2010.
The Panel will enquire as to whether Mr Chapman is in breach of:
Rule (C)22 by failing to conduct his training of DARK OASIS:
a) with reasonable care and skill
And/or
b) with due regard to the interests of Mr Frank Michael who was the owner of DARK OASIS
Rule (C)27 by failing to take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and welfare of DARK OASIS
Rule (C)28 by acting contrary to veterinary advice in regards to the care of DARK OASIS
The date for the Disciplinary Panel hearing into this matter will be announced in due course.
